Foreign Trade-Overview

  • The The foreign trade of Tripura is with Bangladesh. The official trade between Tripura and Bangladesh started in 1995-96 through Agartala LC Station.
  • Land Custom Stations (LCS) - 8 notified.

Agartala, Srimantpur, Muhurighat, Khowaighat, Dhalaighat, Manughat, Old Raghnabazar and Sabroom. Dhalaighat LCS is operational for immigration purposes only.

  • Border Haats:

There are two border haat Kamalasagar, Sepahijala District and Srinagar, South Tripura, which are currently under operation in Tripura. They have been operational since 2015.

  • Commodities sold in Border Haats: From Tripura side, Local Vegetables, Cosmetics, Steel Utensils, Sarees, Ready to eat Food, Tea, Garments etc are sold and from Bangladesh side dry goods, various plastic items, bakery products, fruits and vegetables etc are sold.
