- ADB project: State Government is implementing a ADB supported project in Tripura namely “Infrastructure Development of Industrial Estates in Tripura “Recently the same Department of Economic Affairs had posed the proposal of the project to ADB for seeking financial assistance for an amount of Rs. 960 crore (US$ 120 million).
- G-20 event : As a part of G20 Presidency, a Science-20 Event, as a side event of the G-20 Meetings was held at Agartala on 3rd & 4th April, 2023. About 75 delegates from different G-20 nations, International Organizations, NITI Aayog, Govt. of India etc. participated in the event including special invitees from various organizations of India.
- State Round Table: North Eastern Global Investors Summit -23 : MDoNER organized the North Eastern Investors Summit. As a precursor to the Summit, State Level Round Table meeting was held on 2nd May, 2023 at Agartala with participation of investors, local entrepreneurs, other important stakeholders including PSUs, Banks and relevant State Government officials. Also, as a precursor a Road show was held at Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkata and State Government participated in the event. About, 50 participants has shown interest in issues related to Tripura.
- Regional Conference on Sustainable Development of MSMEs in NER was held on 9th & 10th Jan, 2023 at Pragna Bhawan in collaboration with the State Government and active participation of MSME and KVIC. In the event senior officials from Central Government, North Eastern states and State Government participated.
- The Third India- Japan Intellectual Dialogue was held on 11-12th April, 2023 at Agartala to discuss various issues related to promote investment and business in NE states by Japan. The program was attended by high level dignitaries from Government of Bangladesh, Central Government, State Government and Embassy of Japan.
- Unity Mall: DPR submitted for establishment of Unity Mall in the State at Hapania, Agartala has been approved and the Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India has communicated central assistance amounting to Rs.114.00 Cr. for setting up of the Mall. The proposed Unity Mall will be a multi storied building with ample space for commercial purpose and supportive infrastructure including providing a platform for showcasing and selling traditional handicrafts, handloom products, and textiles from various states of India.
- MoU with MSME Ministry: A MoU has been signed with the Ministry of MSME Government of India on 27-06-2023 for sharing of the Udyam Registration data for the state of Tripura for better understanding and formulation of schemes/ policies in the state.
- GeM : Directorate of Industries & Commerce received the 1st position award for Highest order volume in Services (Since inception) in the Tripura GeM Excellence Summit.
- India International Trade Fair - 2023: The State was awarded the 2nd prize under the category of Thematic presentation of State Pavilion at the India International Trade Fair – 2023 held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi in November, 2023
- Ceremonial Loan Disbursement program – An event for the ready for disbursement loans under PMEGP & Swabalamban scheme was held on 12th January, 2024 on the National Youth Day Celebration event on 12th January, 2024 in which a replica cheque was presented by Hon’ble Chief Minister, Tripura amounting to Rs. 25.82 crore of loan under PMEGP & Swavalamban scheme to be provided to 646 beneficiaries of all Districts of Tripura funded through 13 different operating banks of the State.
